October - Domestic Violence Awareness Month 2019
October is the month when we recognize survivors and victims of domestic violence through Domestic Violence Awareness Month. DVAM was first observed in 1987, and has been recognized nationally since that time. DVAM gives us an opportunity to honor those who have died due to intimate partner violence, as well a venue to show support for survivors.
This year, Response is hosting a candlelight vigil and walk in four towns in Shenandoah County. Check out the flyer below for details!
